Publication scheme

All councils have a duty under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to adopt and maintain a publication scheme.

Some of the information is on our website. This page helps you access the information online and elsewhere.

The publication scheme is split into 7 classes:

Who we are and what we do

• Council constitution
  How the council operates, how decisions are made and the procedures which are followed.
• Committee structure

  Meetings, agendas, members contact details, attendance statistics, declarations of interest.
• Senior management structure
• Council pay policy
• Current elected councillor's information and contact details
• Election results
  Community Council, Community Poll, European, Local, National, Wales Constituency, Wales Regional, Police Commissioner, Referendum.

  Organisations independent from the councul that have an impact on its service areas.

  Range and levels of salaries, fees and allowances payable by the Council to its Councillors.

  For Cardiff Council, Cardiff Harbour Authority and Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan Pension Fund
