DAF Emergency Assistance Payment
The DAF Emergency Assistance payment is a grant to help pay for essential costs, such as food, if you:
- are experiencing extreme financial hardship,
- have lost your job, or
- have applied for benefits and are waiting for your first payment.
You can apply for the Emergency Assistance Fund online or call 029 2087 1071.
Free School Meals
Primary and secondary school pupils can get free school meals, if their family gets certain benefits.
