What to do if a pay and display machine if not working

If a machine is not working, we will manage the issue remotely and fix it as soon as possible.

You will still need to pay using another method. A fault with a machine is not a valid reason to not pay. You may receive a fine if you do not.

You can use MiPermit to pay for parking:


Pay online

Use the MiPermit online portal or mobile app.

Pay by phone

Call MiPermit on 0333 123 6006. You will need to provide the location number on the nearest pay and display machine.

Pay by text message

Text 'PARK' and your vehicle registration number to 61600. MiPermit will call you back to arrange your payment.

Refunds

If there was an issue with your payment and you think you have been charged twice, please provide evidence of this to [email protected].

If you have received a void transaction ticket, please allow 14 days for the refund to be automatically processed before contacting us.
