Policing Budget 2026 to 2027
It is the Police and Crime Commissioner's responsibility to set the part of your Council Tax that part funds, along with Home Office funding, the combined budgets of South Wales Police and the Commissioner's Office.
The combined policing budget for 2026 to 27 has been set following scrutiny by both the Police and Crime Panel and the Commissioner of the operational case and financial case put forward by the Chief Constable.
The Band D precept for 2026 to 27 will be £405.14, this is an increase of £26.47 or 6.99% compared to the prior year.
